Chief Magistrate Judge Cassandra Kirk shared the results of implementing Maggie, the ChatBot. Maggie was designed to improve customer service and enhance the court’s reach.
Maggie achieved those goals in her first year of service. Maggie is available 7×24; in 2020, she had over 15,000 conversations and handled 79% of them. She transfers constituents to a member of the court administrative team when she cannot provide the constituent’s information.
Maggie quickly became the most utilized court-based chatbot in the state.
Our chatbot Maggie has been able to handle over 15,000 conversations in the past year. That has allowed our administrative staff more time to assist with complicated issues.
